Hope Harvest

The CAMC Hope Harvest Initiative is a mission-driven effort to nourish both body and spirit across Central Appalachia. Rooted in our deep commitment to serve Christ by serving others, Hope Harvest brings communities together through food distribution, sustainable gardening projects, and educational outreach.
A centerpiece of our work is our growing community garden, where fresh produce is cultivated by volunteers and shared with families in need. Each year, we also create "bucket gardens" — individual, portable gardens planted in buckets — to help families grow their own vegetables at home, even with limited space or soil. By partnering with local churches, volunteers, and community organizations, we work to combat hunger, promote self-sufficiency, and sow seeds of hope for a brighter future. Every meal shared, every garden planted, and every seed nurtured is a testament to God's abundant love and provision. Join us in growing a stronger, healthier, and more connected Appalachia—one harvest at a time.
